I went to a dermatologist who suggested either a laser treatment or a chemical peel. She was not very specific. Are there any suggestions? I want to reduce the appareance of my moles and reduce the red marks on my skin.

You really have to give it more time for it to settle before you get concerned, its only 3 weeks and scar will 'mature' over the next few months. After about 3m, you will see what it will start to look like and even then, it will improve. you should follow your surgeons scar care instructions...
