What should I do about my shoulder muscles hurting so bad after Botox? I can't hardly do anything- especially with head down.

About 2 1/2 weeks ago I received Botox injections in my head neck and shoulder blades. My shoulders hurt and feel like I have rocks in them. I can only put my head down to read for a few minutes. Yesterday I was trying to pick up colored pebbles with kids and could only last about 5 minutes and the pain after lasted quite awhile. I thought after treatment I would wait to see if it got better but it seems to be getting worse. What should I do?

Hi Stnbrk12,I assume that you got botox for cervical dystonia, and this usually requires a high dose of botox and there are really reported cases of pain after botox injection for this condition. It is however rare for cosmetic injection so if your purpose is for the latter, see your doctor immediately.
