To make an Assessment of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see quality before and after pictures. If you don’t have your before and after pictures done, ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
It’s not uncommon for people to have subcutaneous fat, as berries and sickness, being thin in the groin area, and being thicker in the mid abdomen. When that skin is excised, it can be a mismatch between the thickness of fat layers, and below the incision line. Ideally surgeons will adjust by removing fat on the upper incision edge in order to have the contour be continuous.
If that wasn’t done during surgery, then it can be addressed with Liposuction after the procedure.
Follow up with your provider and have them address your concerns. Alternatively, you can schedule in person or second opinion consultations with other providers. For a second opinion, consultations patients should come prepared bringing with them or a complete set a before and after pictures and a copy of your operative report. These are available from your surgeons office if you request them.
