Is bonding material safe or does it contain BPA?

Question

I am debating between bonding and veneers to fix the gap between my two front teeth. I like that bonding requires less destruction for prep, but am concerned about the bonding material. I am quite holistic minded and prefer not to put toxic chemicals in my body. I have read that bonding contains BPA and wondered if there was any less toxic alternatives? Thanks!

Recently much discussion has been placed around composites, which contain minimal amount of Bisphenol  A (BPA) in which is thought to act like hormonal estrogenic substance. American Dental Association have advised that composite restorations are non allergic and is safe, however we can use BPA free composites, which can be purchased by your cosmetic dentist.
