I have two tattoos, one behind each ear. I want to join the military but they’ve denied me for my tattoos. I want to get them removed as soon as possible but the two locations here are telling me at least 6 sessions of laser treatment which is just too long. What are your thoughts and suggestions, I would be willing to travel to get them removed.

this will require many sessions of pico or PFD patch tattoo removal. I suggest you see an expert, there is no way around it unless you want it surgically removed.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question and photographs.  There are a lot of factors that determine how many laser treatments are  necessary to remove a tattoo including the type of ink that was put in, the type of laser used to remove the ink, the area on the body and how long you wait between treatments.   You are most likely looking at 8-10 sessions.  Your tattoos are relatively narrow and could be removed in a single session with surgical excision.  Obviously, that would leave a scar in it's place but the tattoos would be gone immediately.
