Feel like I have buck teeth , feel like I have to force my top lip over teeth and the hitting of my bottom lip is a constant reminder that I something wrong , it's only been one day but they said I will get used to it, feel like I won't. When I close my mouth it's pushing my bottom lip out is this normal? I had a big gap in front two teeth, dentist said that's why it feels different, I think they messed up.

Answer: New Crowns You have new teeth. You deserve to be happy with them. Both doctors who have written have very good points to make. Your best bet I think is to given your new crowns a week. Call your dentist now and ask for an 1/2 hour of his/her time. In the meantime write down all your concerns. Then when you see your dentist you will be organized and able to get all your points addressed. I also recommend you bring someone, bring an advocate, someone on your side. This is really so that you have someone there who is thinking faster than you - sometimes when we don't get the answers we want, we go off track. An advocate will stay on track for you. And be aware, it might take 2-4 visits. It might take you requesting to do the crowns over again. If that happens, follow the doc below who recommends you get all the kinks of size, shape, phonetics and feel worked out in the provisional teeth before the new teeth are put in Good luck...you really deserve to LOVE your new smile!
