I had anatomical teardrop implants placed 5 weeks ago, and this is a little embarrassing but I would like to know when its ok for my partner to start being a little rougher with them, i am worried that they would rupture or be missplaced. Is that possible ? How long should I wait before allowing him to treat them like natural breasts ?

Answer: Time To Wait Generally by now they should be settled into the pocket and in good anatomical position.Five to six weeks post operatively is usually a scheduled time to see your surgeon and she/he will examine the implants and their position. This is a good time to ask your surgeon for the go ahead to treat them like natural breasts. If your surgeon says that everything is healing as expected, being "a little rougher" on the breast area is certainly dependent upon your own tolerance.I hope this helps.

Answer: Wait time for touching the breasts safely Each surgeon has his or her guidelines for postoperative care. Generally, touching the breasts by your partner will be permitted by the surgeon in 4 to 6 weeks post surgery. Consult with your surgeon as he or she knows the specifics of you and the scope of the surgery.
