I had bilateral blepharoplasty a week ago and stitches have been removed today.

I would agree that you need to ask this question of your surgeon, since he or she has the most knowledge about your particular procedure and is responsible for your care.  In general, I would say that you need to wait at least two weeks after the procedure before exercise, swim and sauna but some light exercise, such as walking may be okay after a week.

These are important questions you should run by your surgeon in order to make sure you continue to heal well. We generally do not advise any heavy lifting or strenuous exercise for at least two weeks.  Good luck.

Check with your surgeon and follow their post-op instructions.  I have my patients wait 2 weeks before swimming, steam rooms and saunas and 3-4 weeks for vigorous exercise.
