Can a Car Accident with Direct Impact of my Stomach and Breast to the Steering Wheel and Seat Belt Effect my TT and BL?

1mth 2 dys po involved in accident. Stomach & chest were slammed into steering wheel and jolted backed by the seatbelt, no air bag. stomach is much more swollen. the upper left side of the stomach sticks out larger than the rest of my stomach, lumpy,sensitive to touch, constantly burning sensation. Breasts opened in the crease area are throbbing in the opening & areola area. One breast has a lump on the side under the arm. Can an accident cause muscle separation? How soon can it be repaired?

Most of these complaints are very rare following a tummy tuck. Generally these symptoms are sometimes present during the healing period. Recurrent laxity is always a possibility but having to redo this is rare as well.

There is a possibility that you have a hernia and I would recommend a CT scan of your abdomen. Since you have mesh, scarring could also be causing some discomfort.

Lose the weight first then have a consult with a PS. There shouldn't be any problem with getting pregnant and proceeding with a pregnancy after a tummy tuck compared to not having the tummy tuck. Of course after pregnancy you may need another tummy tuck, which is the down side of having it...

Your entitled to know the cost of a consultation upfront if your meeting for an out of pocket procedure. Ask if a fee exists and then decide if your willing to pay it. Physicians are entitled to set their own consultation fee schedule. Good Luck
