Hello I am 1 month post op Asian double eyelid surgery with Ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty. When I got out of the surgery I immediately noticed my left eye was way more lifted up compared to the right side. I brushed it off as swelling, but as I am healing I am noticing my eyes are still very uneven and my left eye doesn’t seem to be going down. If this doesn’t go down further what can be done to make it even with my right eye?

Hello,
I would say both would be possible for you and the reason to it is,
You have a wide eyes and seems to have a good levator(muscle that helps to open eyes) function and thin layer of skin and has a little bit of orbital fat.In this case, both parallel and tapered that has high fold crease...
It is not rare to hear this from patients. The anatomy of the eyelid skin, fat, and levator can change over time. A very conservative DES (likely no fat removal and little to no skin removal) would prevent the skin just over your lashes from hanging over and causing the heavy feeling.
