I'm using Retin A .1 and do well with it 2-3 times a week. Can it be used under chin and neck and decollete area?

Hi there and thank you for your question. When getting my patients started on Retin-A I recommend using it 3 times a week like a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for two weeks. After the two weeks I recommend slowly adding in another night to get up to at least 5 times a week. You will experience some redness, flaking and irration in the beginning until you build up a tolerance to it. I would apply it to the entire face just being more cautious to eyes and corners of nose. The product can be applied to the neck area would just not apply as frequent because the skin is thinner to the neck. I hope this helped and good luck! 

Retin A can be used under the chin and decolletage area but you may experience more sensitivity with it so just be careful. You can mix it with lotion/moisturizer to help dilute it out a bit and only use it 2-3 times a week like you have been. Be sure to always apply a great zinc sunscreen spf 30 or more daily.
