I have dreadlocks can I use Minoxidil without my dreads falling out? How much hair can shed using Minoxidil? (photo)

My hair has always been kinda thin so about 5 years ago I dreaded my hair hoping it would help it get thicker and stronger but it seems to me its getting worse. I want to know if I can use minoxidil and not lose my dreads. Can I use it over my entire head?

If you use Minoxidil and finasteride at the same time it will be a great combination for hair growth . In order to have good results you need to use it for long term.

Minoxidil is a very good choice. If you want to use tablets you can use multivitamin, biotin or finasteride. You can also get PRP treatment as an alternative.

Minoxidil usually helps the hair growth and if you stop using it the hair that grew because if minoxidil can shed. It Is better if you get a consultation and add photos.

Finasteride shows its results in long term use. The hair will grow back eventually but it is also important where the shedding is and what's your scale on Norwood.

You are around 3 on Norwood scale. Minoxidil will help, but if you use minoxidil with finasteride than it will be better.
