Hair loss, currently using 7% topical minoxidil want to use minoxidil tablets.

Question

I am currently using minoxidil topical 7 %, i am receding from, the temples, i have used minoxidil 7% for 3 yrs and though it has worked i found the hair to be fine and only grow 2 inches long, I am a male and wear my hair longer than most men, I want to use the tablet form as I have heard better results, I have read by Professor Sinclair that .25mg tablet form of minoxidil is enough to promote hair and not have high risk of side effects, my question, is .25mg more affective than 7% topical?

Minoxidil is a very good choice. If you want to use tablets you can use multivitamin, biotin or finasteride. You can also get PRP treatment as an alternative.

If you are switching from topical to oral minoxidil you need to do this under the care of a physicians
