I suffer from a numb scalp and severe itching of the scalp from this procedure. It has been one year and a month since this was done. Is there any hope that I will ever get the feeling back?

Answer: Numb scalp from endoscopic browlift There are several advantages to undergoing the endoscopic brow lift as opposed to an open brow lift procedure. Avoiding the scar, potential hair loss, and the significant decrease in incidence of forehead and scalp numbness are the primary advantages. It sounds like there may have been damage to the nerves that exit the skull and innervate the scalp at the level of the supra orbital ridge. If the nerves were severed, which is very unlikely, you may not get sensation back. The itching however, would indicate that the nerves are working and may need more time to rejuvenate.

Answer: Endoscopic Brow Lift Even with an endoscopic brow lift, which is less "invasive", a patient can still experience numbness after surgery. This may persist from months to years, or indefinitely. Most patients do experience improvement over time, although it can take many months to more than a year. Discuss with your doctor.
