Can I get non-invasive laser lipo done in the same area I had CoolSculpting done?

Thank you for your question. You can undergo non-invasive laser fat reduction in the same area you had CoolSculpting. Since results of CoolSculpting are usually complete within about six months, you are likely seeing your full fat reduction at this point. No matter which procedure you choose, make sure you work with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist who can tailor your treatment to your precise needs for the best possible results.

Yes you can do liposuction in areas that have been done by Coolsculpting or other non-invasive devices.You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

I suggest you wait 3 months post Coolsculpting to determine its final effectiveness. If you choose to do another non invasive option at that juncture due to budget restrictions then that’s your option, and at least you can compare how effective each option works on reducing fat. The non invasive Lipo laser will certainly not be as effective as Coolsculpting or some of the other non invasive options.  As Dr Grossman mentioned a one time surgical liposuction is usually the overall best option 

If you have received your coolsculpting procedures and are not satisfied with the outcome, I don't think that non-invasive laser fat reduction is going to make you any happier. I tell my patients that they're better off in having one procedure of smart or traditional liposuction and have the results once and for all. Having a single procedure of liposuction may be considerably less expensive than multiple non-invasive procedures combined. you can definitely get Sculpsure in the area you had Coolsculpting. I think Sculpsure has much better technology. We use the Nitronox system to make the Sculpsure experience much more pleasant for the patients. Neither of these will be as aggressive as Smartlipo but Sculpsure should be helpful. I also stress to all of my patients, that it is a partnership. Dear Lola,You are not alone when it comes to spending a lot for noninvasive technology and getting minimal results.Doing more noninvasive technology may give no results.For more consistent sculpted results Liposuction with various technologies to physically remove the fat cells, and shrink the skin would be a better investment. Best. Minimal procedures will provide minimal results...Non-invasive techniques are limited in what they can accomplish. It is best for minimal fatty tissue accumulations only. A minimally invasive REAL liposuction will accomplish everything in a single procedure! Don't waste your time or money on non-invasive techniques if you have any significant fatty tissue repositories (which have already proven to be resistant following a previous procedure).
