It's important to know if this operation was performed with general anaesthesia or local anaesthesia. In any case, it's unlikely that it would impact the pregnancy. However, you should let your gynecologist know about that and do all the pre-natal tests necessary to establish the wellbeing of the embryo.
i dont think liposucion will have an adverse effect on a baby that was conceived after your procedure.. if you were pregnant when the procedure was performed you may have been given some drugs which could theoretically harm a fetus but in all likelihood everything should be fine
It is important to know if the Liposuction was done before you were pregnant or afterwards. Also, the type of anesthesia that was used. Ask your plastic surgeon for your records, and take them to your OBGYN so he or she can determine any prenatal testing that will be needed.
Dear Orlando,It is important to wait to do Liposuction after the pregnancy or before.Let your Ob-Gyn know about procedure, if done by accident when you were pregnant already. Give Ob a list of the meds that were used during the procedure, so they can discuss potential issues with you.Best. Dr Brecht
Hi and welcome to our forum! It is important to know the time relationship between your procedures and your pregnancy. If the procedures were performed prior to conception, there should be no problem. Thank you for your question. You may still have some swelling, which may last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease any swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding Vanquish f...
Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, there appears to be a degree of overcorrection and associated fibrosis. This may slowly improve over time (1-2 years), but will not approach normalcy. Once the induration (firmness) has subsided, one may consider fat grafting of the area to improve...
Hi and welcome to our forum! Non-surgical fat reduction does appear to result in destruction of some fat cells, resulting in minimal improvement while laser liposuction will be far more aggressive in removing fatty deposits. There are very few side effects of topical laser therapy, but...
You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Ideally all of these areas would be treated a single procedure. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with...
Dear Heather,It looks as like you have a freezing burn.Cool for removal of fat has shown to do reactions to skin like this, in addition to hypersensitivity of skin, and reoccurring/ worsening of fat return in the area of treatments.I don’t recommend these treatments.Best. Dr Brecht Seattle, Wa
