I want to remove veneers and have invisalign instead can this be done? (photo)

Question

Hi i got two veneers on my laterial incisors i want to take them off and have a invisalign brace instead can this be done? And would i have to have my wisdom teeth took out for this to be done?? My dentist done min prep on my teeth before the veneers you can see this on the photo. Any advice would be great thanks.

I can understand that you are not happy with your veneers, but if your veneers looked better, I don't think that you'd want to go from veneers to Invisalign.  I recommend going to a great cosmetic dentist that can give you the results that you desire.  Find a dentist with before and after photos that show results that you want. The veneers are covering the tooth and although you say there is minimal preparation done on them there is likely some enamel that has previously been removed. Invisalign will help straighten the teeth but you will still need a covering where the veneers are. If you are not happy with the veneers then I would first straighten your teeth with Invisalign and then have the veneers redone.

You can certainly have Invisalign with our without the veneers, however if the two teeth have been prepared at all you would need to have some covering, either composite bonded veneers or porcelain veneers.If you do not have enough room in your mouth for your wisdom teeth or they are impacted it is generally advised to have them removed regardless of whether your have orthodontics or not.
