I am wanting to know if I would get a good result from having veneers applied to my 2 front teeth to close the gap and set them back in-line with my other teeth as currently they stick out around 2mm more than the others! I am also wanting the tooth right of my 2 front teeth when looking at the photo replaced with a veneer so it is straight and matches the one on the other side! As my front teeth stick out so much would it be a problem having the veneers set back in-line with my other teeth?
Answer: Would veneers work? Hello there,While I can't tell entirely from the picture, how much your teeth stick out, I can tell that you would be an easy candidate for veneers and crowns on those teeth. The veneers tend to add a little bulkiness to the tooth, so in a case of protruding teeth, you may need a crown. In instances where your teeth do not stick out, you would benefit more from veneers on those teeth. I have corrected way way worse than what you have. Take a look at my before and after pictures to assure you that your teeth can easily be fixed.Good luck to you and let us know how things work out for you. Take care.

Answer: Veneers for my gap Veneers would definitely correct your concern but you would need at least 4 to make them look proportionate. I would also recommend Invisalign to simply close the gap. Good luck

Answer: Closing gaps with veneers. Veneers in this situation should lead to a predictable and satisfying result. I would look into having at least four teeth treated in this case.

Answer: Would Porcelain Veneers be suitable for closing the gap in my front teeth? From your description and photos, it is my professional opinion that porcelain veneers would solve the problems you mentioned very nicely! As stated by other dentists, you should have at least four porcelain veneers done. If only two, the two teeth would appear too wide and unnatural. Four veneers would close the spaces, the teeth would all be in proportion to one another, and your teeth could be aligned.Your cosmetic dentist would need to reshape (prepare, drill) your two front teeth more than the other teeth to achieve this alignment, and it is possible that with that extra drilling you might end up needing root canals on those teeth. I could not give you a better assessment without seeing you and your teeth and examining them, so be sure to discuss this with your cosmetic dentist so that you know the potential downside that may occur. That being said, doing root canals on teeth that have had veneers is usually not a problem at all, and would not mean that the veneers would need to be redone.Another question that should be addressed, is why are your front two teeth leaving out so much? Do you have a tongue thrust that pushes on your teeth? Do you have a habit that continually puts pressure on the back side of your teeth, that moved them forward? If there is a habit and it is not addressed, you could have some relapse of your front teeth and they may end up moving forward again. Your cosmetic dentist should also discuss the etiology of your front two teeth that have moved so far forward.

Answer: Veneers to Close Gap and Realign Two Front Teeth From the photo veneers should be able to close your space and position the teeth more in alignment with the rest of your smile. I would suggest doing at least the front four teeth as closing the gap just with the front two teeth will make them much wider in relation to the side teeth than a normal ratio would be. Doing just the front two in your case would be an improvement but would not look natural due the descepancy in the sizes of the teeth from what appears in a natural pleasing smile.
