I had an extraction of tooth #27 a week ago and developed dry socket 2 days later. I had seen the clot, but this dislodged through some athletic activities. I returned to my DDS and he cleaned out a bit of pus and packed some clove paste. I've been using clove oil for the past week to reduce the pain. I am scheduled for the implant next week. I don't know if the bone as it is has good blood supply without that clot. Should I postpone the implant? I don't want the implant failing.
