Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. One of my favorite treatments for scar revision is utilizing PRP with micro needling. This promotes natural remodeling of the tissue to help create a more natural and permanent effect. It is recommended to do PRP treatments one month apart until desired results are obtained. This will help diminish the scar and support even skin tone and texture.
