Buccal Fat Removal or Facelift - which is better for me? (photos)

Question

I am in my Late 40s and I would like to know if buccal fat removal will be a good idea or only facelift will solve the falling cheeks ? If facelift is the one to go, smas or deep plane ? I can’t quite see how one is more advantageous than the other !

Without in person or even virtual consult my guess is buccal fat removal with mini Face/Neck lift + SMAS plication, plus HA fillers or nano fat grafting to areas of face. Fees in $12,000-$20,000 ranges.

Hi Tiffany! It's hard to say without seeing more views but I would say based on your picture you have very mild jowls and facial sagging. I would recommend a facelift and I often remove the buccal fat pad during the facelift anyway. Additionally, you might need a tiny chin implant to balance your lower face.

Some patients only need a buccal fat pad removal to achieve an improved facial contour. Other patients may require facelift / necklift, jawline enhancement and chin augmentation to give a  chiseled and desirable facial appearance.
