Smart Lipo for Breast Lift\reduction?

Question

Having a dark and bumpy skin... My Doc recommended that I would do best if I got a smart lipo on my breast to reduce and lift my breast due to less scaring...he refuse to do breast lift as I would have bad scars left he told me that after he noticed my small pox vaccination scar..... My question is I am trying to get more info as to will this give me some type of results that I want to see small and lifted breast???

If you really have droopy breasts, liposuction and smartlipo won't lift them enough to give you high perky breasts.  Some practitioners have experimented with this to replaced surgical lifts (mastopey) but I find the results disappointing.  Surgical mastopexy is the gold standard.  Sometimes lifts with limited scars can be done.  A good plastic surgeon can tell you what procedures you are a candidate for.

Using liposuction for a breast reduction will only reduce the volume of the breast.  No lift will occur.  Using SmartLipo may allow for some tightening of the skin and a minimal lift.  However, the amount of lift achieved with SmartLipo will not be in any way comparable to a standard surgical lift.

Any form of liposuction to the breasts will reduce volume but that deflating effect may make your breast sagging slightly worse. Most definitely breast liposuction will not have any lifting effect and possibly may make the sag worse.

I have used liposuctionas the exclusive means of breast reduction for many years. it works wonderfully in people who have a real issue with scars but it is far from perfect. if you are expecting high tight breasts even using the laser in addition you may be a little disappointed. It is mainly a method for reducing the volume of the breast. you may get an inch or so of lift but be careful with your expectations.Dr Baxt
