I had a tattoo recently for personal reasons, I am now regretting. It looks nothing like the flower I asked for and in a highly visible area. Fortunately, it’s not “ugly”. What are the chances of having it removed completely or much smaller removing the purple and green? I understand it’s going to be a long and painful process. I’m weighing my options to live with it or removal.
Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal Thank you for your question and I am sorry you are unhappy with your tattoo. Fortunately, there are good options in tattoo removal today, using innovative lasers designed to shatter the ink pigment for very successful results. In my office, we use pico lasers for this purpose, which deliver pico-second pulses of laser energy into the ink. This treatment has been shown to eliminate more colors than other lasers and often in fewer sessions. That said, you will need to commit to a series of sessions to achieve full results. Make sure you work with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist to ensure your procedure is both safe and successful.

Answer: Best Laser Tattoo Removal Thank you for your question. With the right laser, you can significantly reduce and even remove the appearance of most tattoos, regardless of ink color. In our practice, we use a combination of lasers, including the revolutionary PicoWay and Picosure lasers. These devices offer pico-second technology that shatters the ink pigment so the particles can be reabsorbed by the body with minimal damage to the adjacent tissue. Between the two lasers, all colors of a tattoo can be treated successfully. The lasers have been shown to eliminate most tattoos in fewer treatments than other laser devices. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist who has expertise in laser tattoo removal to ensure your results are both safe and successful.
