Had a vitalize peel like 2 days ago my face just feel dry and raw and no sights of peeling is this normal
Answer: Normal The vitalize peel can take up to three days before you see any peeling. It also responds to the damage on your skin, so everyone will peel differently. Some may peel significantly, while others may just have a light peel. Even if you don't peel, you will still receive a great treatment. The peel is designed to treat deeper, so it will repair cells that are in the process of coming to the surface of the skin.

Answer: Chemical Peel Thank you for your question. Vitalize peels will not create peeling. Deeper peels, including the stronger chemical peels, address deep wrinkles and can cause scarring. I suggest that you discuss your recovery instructions and expectations with your board certified facial plastic surgeon. Best wishes,

Answer: Had a vitalize peel - no peeling. Thanks for your query. Yes, it is absolutely normal to not have visible peeling after peel. Visible scaling generally occurs after application of deep peels and also depends upon the preparation of peels, mild peeling just cause micro peeling so you do not see it, this does not mean that the peels aren’t working. You should go for regular peels to have the best effect. Hope it helps. All The Best

Answer: Had a vitalize peel - no peeling. Thank you for sharing your question. Though most patients will experience some degree of flaking with either the Vitalize or Rejuvenize peel from SkinMedica, some patients who have thicker skin or have been on a skin care regimen will not. Your skin is still receiving the benefits of the peel, just not the side effects of peeling. Hope this helps.
