I had vaser done on my inner thighs and upper arms 11 days ago. When will I see my final result?

Question

I had 780 total ccs removed from my inner thighs/arms which was less then I expected and as of now I can see very minimal improvement. The bruising is almost gone but I do have the hard lumps in my arms and inner thighs. I realize that results improve over time but I am concerned not enough fat was removed. Is there anyway for me to know at this time whether I will actually achieve my desired results? If I need to do a "touch up" I don't want to be doing it in the middle of summer in FL.

The final #results of the #Vaser liposuction procedure are typically most noticeable 2-4 months following the #Vaser. So, you must have patience. The swelling will gradually diminish while the contours of the treated area(s) can continue to improve up to one year post procedure; becoming more apparent in appearance. If you have concerns about your healing, or pain that you question to be unusual, it is important to call your plastic surgeon to discuss these further asked to be examined.

Your final result from liposuction should be judged at 6 weeks to 3 months. At 11 days, there is still a lot of swelling which usually takes at least a few weeks to subside.  The firmness is also normal and will resolve with time and massage. The inner thighs and arms don't typically yield that much fat (780cc is a substantial amount) and over-removal can easily lead to irreversible contour irregularities, so be patient!

It is "called" recovery from the operation. Healing time or phase especially following a VASER lipo is longer , in the 4 month range...

I discuss with my patients that liposuction takes time. I ask them not to look at the areas of liposuction for at least four months following surgery.. Results will continue to improve for 9-12 months.  It is important to note that the swelling following surgery should not make your current clothing fit any differently. Best of luck!
