Lumpy arms after Vaser Liposuction, is this normal?

The purpose of the post-procedure #garment is to provide some gentle #support and to reduce swelling. If it feels too tight or causes pain, take it off. Many patients wear the #elastic garment for several weeks after procedures, as directed by their doctor; some choose to wear it longer for several months for comfort.
The final results of the procedure are typically most noticeable 2-4 months following the #Vaser. So, you must have patience. The swelling will gradually diminish while the contours of the treated area(s) can continue to improve up to one year post procedure; becoming more apparent in appearance. Having lumpiness 3 weeks after VASER liposuction is normal.  You should definitely feel tight and numbness.  The numbness can persist for several months.  Edema (swelling) typically takes 2 months before the majority of it is gone.  Make sure you are wearing the garment 24/7 and are keeping your arms elevated whenever you can.  At night raise your arms on several pillows while sleeping on your back will help the edema resolve quicker.  Also, lymphatic massage and external ultrasound will help.  I would also follow up with your surgeon about the lumpiness to make sure he/she thinks it is normal.
