Thanks shanny223 for your question! It is frustrating when you’re already investing in advanced skin treatments like PRP and microneedling, yet a specific area like the inner corners remains stubborn. That bruise-like appearance in the inner canthus (the corner near the nose) is common and usually stems from a different anatomical cause than general under-eye circles. The skin in the inner corner is the thinnest on the entire face. What you are seeing might be the underlying angular vein or a dense network of capillaries showing through the translucent skin. Because the skin is so thin there, you are essentially looking through a window at the blood vessels underneath. You mentioned you do PRP, but switching to i-PRF (injectable fibrin) specifically in that hollow could be more effective. PRF releases growth factors more slowly and can slightly thicken the skin over the vessel, acting like a "filter" so the blue doesn't show through as clearly. A tiny amount of a very thin, low-G-prime hyaluronic acid filler like Belotero can be placed deep in that corner. This creates a physical buffer between the vein and the skin surface, instantly camouflaging the blue tint. Hope this was helpful! Best wishes, Dr Ali Sajjadian
