Are thread lifts easier to do when the face is in its most natural state (e.g. fillers are dissolved & no effect of Botox)? Is there a difference in result if, for example, cheek filler is applied first and then has a thread lift procedure is completed in the same area rather than the other way around? Do you find patients have the best results when combining both procedures? Also - do lasers have a similar dissolving effect on threads as they do on filler? Thanks!
Answer: The sequence is important PDO Threads are best to place first in order to lift and support the facial and neck tissues. Facial fillers will replace volume and will follow in weeks. The use of Botox or Xeomin can be done at any time. Likewise, the Endolift Laser which tightens lax skin and stimulates collagen should be done first.

Answer: Great Questions Hi! These are great questions. In my experience, it is easier to do a thread lift when certain facial muscles are relaxed. We usually administer Botox 7 days before a brow thread lift so that the brow can lift easily. The thread lift is addressing loose skin, and the fillers help with volume loss. I would usually recommend the thread lift first, and then the fillers to add volume after the tightening has been achieved. Lasers haven't been shown to dissolve threads--lasers are attracted to certain colors, so it would likely depend on whether the threads were susceptible to the wavelength of the specific laser. Thanks, Dr. T

Answer: Thread Lift, Filler, Botox thanks for your query. well it really depends what areas u want to get treated. let me give u an example. suppose u want to full face rejuvenation, so on day 1 u do botox first for your forehead lines, crows feet, frown lines and masseter botox if u require depending upon your assessment. if u in hurry then same day u can do thread lift for your sagging face (jawline and malar reshaping) depending upon what areas are affected we can treat accordingly otherwise I prefer 3-4 days gap at least. Then u shall be called after 10-14 days that is about 2 weeks after first treatment, till that time botox effect would have come and most of your sagging would have been taken care of, so what u left with is just the volume augmentation wherever required with fillers which can be done on the day of review itself. that's the protocol I usually follow.absolutely lasers have same effect but it depends what type of laser u want to get done and secondly adequate space between treatments should be done so as to prevent effect of lasers on filler or threads regards Dr Sukhbir Singh
