Ever since the pandemic started I have been suffering from extreme stress. I started to notice one of my eyelids droop but I am not sure what is causing it. Below are pics of how my eyelids used to look like and after (right eye is drooping)

If anything you appear to have a tiny bit of upper eyelid retraction. Careful study of the before and after pictures suggest you have lost a small amount of volume in the upper eyelid fold. The most common cause of this would be the use of a prostaglandin eyelash growth product. I believe that the government of Canada limits the agents in over the counter lash growth products that often contain isopropyl cloprostenate. Agents that contain Jamaican castor bean oil also contain prostaglandin. Finally bimatoprost the active ingredient in Latisse also grows eyelashes. While they grow eye lashes (and eyebrow hair), these products also kill eyelid and brow fat. If you are using these products stop immediately. Some of the changes many be permanent but some of the changes may reverse with discontinuation of the products. If you are not using these products, I recommend seeing your internist to determine if you have an abnormal thyroid or other condition.
