Doctors found a piece of silicone on my armpit with ultrasound! Does that mean my silicone is leaking ..?

I am 39 yrs & have a gel silicon for 9 yrs!Found a quiet big lump on my armpit,has no pain,plus my breasts both looks Good! Also I have a hotflashes some mornings as well couple months now!do not know if that related to this problem as well!! ultrasound shows piece of siliocn..! May I ask if I should remove,can I wait for 2 years to go to my own Dr. to fix ? Or if I have to do it soon,is that possible in canada!Dr. Fix that under our healthcare coverage or beauty surgery? Hello,I would definitely recommend that you meet with your primary care physician regarding your various symptoms to investigate possible causes. As for breast implant imaging- MRI is usually the most beneficial.All the best

Hello, I'd suggest asking your surgeon if they have any reservations.  I personally do not mind if my patients sun tan prior to surgery but they need to take care not to get a sunburn.
