What’s the difference between Fraxel and the new Syneron Resolve?

Both are fractional lasers. Each Doctor will have their preferred laser. Melasma needs a combination approach to get the best improvement and will need a series of treatments. In our practice, we combine Clear + brilliant, peels, microneedling/PRP, aerolase, Cosmelan, and sometimes erbium laser (coollaser) to get the best results. Fraxel is a brand of laser that has multiple wavelengths, that can help rejuvenate skin, if your aim is for melamsa management then the 1064 Resolve Pico laser can help. NOTE- laser itself does not solve melasma, this laser must be combined with creams and sun protection, its a complex laser to use for melasma as the end points are difficult to ascertain.
