I have a maryland bridge to replace missing lateral incisors, which are bonded to central incisors and canines. The central incisors supporting the wings of the maryland bridge have become uneven (one is pushed forward), possibly from difference in surface area of wings. Can Invisalign be used to straighten the central incisors while the maryland bridge is still bonded to the backs of these teeth and canines?

Overcorrection helps mostly with rotations, if you need to rotate teeth a lot they have a tendency to rotate back. But if you are wearing retainers long term after treatment it should prevent relapse.
Your orthodontist sounds right, you could get good results with Invisalign and gum contouring, which we call Osseous Crown Lengthening or Esthetic Crown Lengthening. They should refer you to a periodontist after Invisalign is completed. You appear like you would get good results and good...
It is difficult to tell without a full workup, but clear braces can close anterior open bites. It would be best if you got a consultation with an orthodontist.
