I've had 2 FUEs and 1 FUT before, so my donor area is limited. I would like to repair my asymmetrical hairline with my remaining donor, and add some density to my eyebrows. I am willing to accept a sparse donor area if I can achieve this, as I will have multiple SMP sessions to cover up my FUE / FUT scarring and add density. I am using dutasteride/minoxidil/ketoconazole, so i don't have any progressive hairloss. The question - is this reasonable, and roughly how many graphs would it take?
Answer: Hairline Asymmetry Hair loss has many causes, including stress, medications, autoimmune, genetic, trauma, etc. Medical treatments can work and options would include finasteride (propecia), minoxidil (rogaine), PRP (platelet rich plasma), laser light therapy, and vitamins. It is often uncertain which medical therapy will help which patient and so a combination of therapies is typically recommended to maximize benefit. A hair transplant is a surgical option and is appropriate for certain conditions and individuals. In your case, I would estimate about 400-600 grafts per side to lower the hairline to where you want it. These grafts could be done via FUE technique from the back or sides. Consult with an experienced hair restoration surgeon for a complete range of options that are appropriate for your situation. Answer: Uneven hairline It is difficult to tell from your pictures how many grafts you would need but I suspect it is no more than a few hundred. This can probably be harvested by FUE from your donor area and possibly from your beard.

Answer: Fixing the hairline asymmetry with limited donor You have enough donor for 600-800 grafts to lower right side of frontal hair line .Hair transplant can be an option for forehead reduction, correcting receding hair line and asymmetry on your frontal hair line/forelock.I advice you have an unilateral FUE with 600-800 grafts ; you would get the desired hairline in just one session of dense packing hair transplant.During the placement of follicular units there will be a mixture of single, double and a few triple grafts, which help to create the soft look of a natural hairline. For the first few lines always go for single grafts, later doubles Triples and others. So that a smooth transition will be there giving undetectable hair transplants.

Answer: Hairline asymetry Hairlines like yours is easily fixed even with limited donor hair remaining. I have repaired and balanced hairlines like yours in people with depleted donor areas because it often does not require a great deal of hair. Sometimes, hair can be obtained from behind the hairline (mid-scalp) as a donor source.
