I've been told I need an MRI scan to confirm whether my jaw joint cartilage is out of place. I believe it is and I believe this has been caused from my malocclusion (see pic). If I were to have my teeth realigned by crowning the bottom tooth, could my cartilage go back into place itself in time? Im researching what would be the best thing to do as I cant afford the MRI scan right now nevermind surgery to correct the cartilage. However, I need to correct my bite as I cant close my teeth together!
