Hello, After a TCA Cross at home on Tuesday evening, something has gone wrong. I continued to apply Vaseline. Skin on Friday morning: refer to attached image. This is how my skin looks like now: refer to attached image: This looks like an infection however there isn't any foul odor emitting from the area. Again, this ONLY happens when I apply Vaseline. If I leave the area dry, it looks like a regular scab once the vaseline is removed. Can somebody please advise me on what I should do?

If this is recent, I would wait a few months before seeing what happens. If it is a old spot, I would try Latisse to see if pigment can return, the other trick is to fade the surrounding skin with laser, so that the white spot is not so obvious. I would like to try to get pigment back before...
Go see a dermatology 2nd opinion. This is too red too long. I am not sure why you have this but it is very unusual. Get a 2nd opinion from a one on one exam. My Best, Dr C
Salon!!! Well seek the care of a "real" doctor to treat this second degree burn correctly. That is why the public needs to understand medical aesthetic therapies need to be preformed either under doctor supervision or by the docs themselves.
