Answer: Loose implant crown you need to see your dentist Asap he/ she will need to make sure thst it is only the implant crown that is loose if the implant is loose as well. It will need to be removed if only the crown is loose, then it will need to be re tightened. The dangers if keeping the loose crown as is; because it keeps moving , it will cause damage to the actual implant. Bacteria can be introduced into the gum space, you can get infection, bone loss around implant, implant mobility... Which will lead to implant loss. So. Try to see your debtist as soon as possible

Answer: Any suggestions for loose dental implant crown? Hello and thank you for your question. There are several possibilities why an implant crown might feel loose. First, if the crown was cemented, cement holding it might need to be replaced. Another possibility can be implant failed and needs to be replaced. Third, a metal screw holding the whole assembly got loose or broken. Those are all speculations. The best thing to do is to see a dentist and let him diagnose the problem properly and fix it.

Answer: Loose dental implant or crown The loose feeling you are experiencing is most likely a loose abutment screwconnection between the crown, the abutment post and the implant. This seems to be the most likely situation. If this is the case then your dentistwill have to try and separate the crown from the abutment so he/she cantighten the abutment screw. If the dentist is unable to separate the crownfrom the abutment, a tiny hole can be made into the crown and the dentistcan create a channel to the screw and tighten it directly through the crown. If the looseness is the implant, then you will have to have the implant removedand eventually replaced.

Answer: Loose dental implant I would recommend getting in to your dentist as soon as possible. If there is no pain, it is likely that the abutment screw has come loose from the implant or that the crown has come loose from the abutment. Functioning on a loose screw can put stress on the screw which can eventually cause it to shear off. The movement can also cause gum irritation around the implant. Over time this can damage the bone around the implant.
