Can discoloration after Pulse Dye laser be corrected?

A year ago I had PDL for broken capillaries around mouth and chin. It didn't work and months later I noticed the skin around mouth and chin turned a greyish ash color and has remained ever since. Iam also fair skinned not tanned. Tried tretinoin 0.5 and 0.01 but no change. Any advice what to do now?

Hi there. In some situations I have done both procedures on the same day, with low energy pulsed dye laser first.  After a chemical peel, however, I would wait at least 2 weeks before having pulsed dye laser.  Hope this helps. Dr. Sawyer
