Bruising after Purpura laser treatment (Photos)

Question

I had Pulse dye laser at bruising setting to help with blood vessels and rosacea on Monday. It is now Saturday. So five days later I still have bruising that has barely faded in this time. I'm also having yellowing around the bruise by my eye. Is this normal? I have been using vitamin K cream and arinica. Should I be concerned with this?

Some people may develop bruising after a pulsed dye laser treatment.  This will go away in time but the amount of time can vary from just a few days to sometimes a week or longer.  I would not be concerned with the bruising that you have 5 days after your treatment, but if you feel it is not improving in a few more days, you should contact the physician who treated you.

As mentioned, efficacy from pulsed dye lasers is related to destruction of blood vessels with expected bruising and unfortunately, potential for hyperpigmentation, hence the need to use such products. Link is provided for more information.
Pulsed dye laser can cause bruising and swelling and I precondition and treat my patients with a bioflavonoid product called Swell-x pt (post treatment) and also an oral supplement for PIH relief called Scler-X and I find them to be effective. 
For hyperpigmentation relief we use a HQ and non HQ based creams in  the U.S. called Sclerovase and Scleroquin plus or Melarase by another company. 
Best to inform the physician under whose guidance you got these results.
