I am fit 38 year old female troubled by my double chin. I’ve had cool sculpting with mild results but not significant. I am considering my treatment options for a residual submental pocket of fat. I feel I also have some skin laxity under my chin too. FaceTiTE was suggested to me but I am concerned it will not achieve enough fat loss. Vaser is an option but I am concerned it won’t resolve skin laxity. I was advised to do before any more weight loss to prevent skin sagging. See photos
Answer: Comparing FaceTite and Vaser Liposuction for Double Chin and Skin Laxity Concerns When considering treatment options for addressing a double chin and submental fat, it's important to weigh the benefits and limitations of each procedure, especially in relation to your concerns about fat removal and skin laxity. FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to target both fat and skin laxity. It is designed to tighten the skin and contour the neck and jawline by stimulating collagen production. While FaceTite can provide some degree of fat reduction, its primary strength lies in its ability to improve skin tightness. If your main concern is skin laxity, FaceTite might be a suitable option, but it may not remove a significant amount of fat on its own. Vaser Liposuction, on the other hand, is more focused on fat removal. It uses ultrasound technology to break down and remove fat cells more efficiently than traditional liposuction. However, Vaser does not directly address skin laxity, which might leave you with loose skin if significant fat is removed and the skin does not retract sufficiently. Given your concerns about both fat reduction and skin laxity, a combination approach might be worth considering. Some patients benefit from combining Vaser liposuction with a skin tightening procedure like FaceTite to achieve optimal results in both areas. It's also important to consider timing in relation to weight loss. As advised, undergoing treatment before significant weight changes can help prevent additional skin sagging. However, this should be discussed with your provider to tailor the approach to your specific needs. I recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who can evaluate your photos and provide a personalized recommendation based on your anatomy and aesthetic goals. They can help determine the most effective treatment plan to achieve the results you desire.

Answer: Yes, FaceTite would be beneficial for you. Thank you for your question! Yes, you would be a great candidate for the FaceTite. Facetite is a noninvasive facelift using liposuction, that removes stubborn fat and helps tighten the skin. We use a cannula under the skin that heats up to a certain degree that melts the fat while stimulating your own collagen cells. All your fat will be gone this day and over time your skin will tighten. The downtime associated with this procedure is minimum. I would recommend additional skin tightening treatments such as Morpheus for additional tightening. I hope this helps, good luck with your treatment!
