When can I start spinning or exercising after breast reduction?

Thank you for your question. I usually recommend my patients to start exercising after 3- 4 weeks of having a breast reduction but don't forget to follow the instructions of your plastic surgeon. 

 Congratulations on having undergone breast reduction surgery;  it is one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform.Generally, it is best to follow your surgeon's  guidelines in regards to return to activity/ exercise. Most of my patients are able to return to this type of activity (relatively strenous) about 3-4 weeks after the breast reduction surgery. Start slow and "listen to your body"...I hope this helps.

Every board certified plastic surgeon has a lsit of post-operative instructions. Contact your surgeon and inquire about their specific list. It is obviously very important to follow these instructions. Best of luck!
