I had a sleeve 12 months ago and have had serious GERD ever since. I take PPI once/twice a day to keep it under control. I have developed side effects from the PPI including anemia, dizziness, muscle cramps, stomach pain and headaches. I have had tests for colon cancer, gallstones/kidney stones, stomach/throat problems and they have found nothing. Want to stop taking the PPI but find when I stop the GERD is intolerable. Thank you.
