So why are we not seeing more of upper lip lift with an incision being made along the line of the upper lip instead of under the nose! Most cases of upper lip lift with an incision under the nose are very visible and distort the shape of nose and nostrils but yet it's very rare that I find a doctor that performs the incision on the lip line and wanted to know why is that? Also, are there any advancements with upper lip lift tat don't involve under the nose incision?

Yes, you are a candidate for a lip lift. I would not recommend a corner lift at the same time. However, the corner lift will leave a scar that is highly visible. You are would be better off with an extension of the traditional lip lift with more skin removed laterally then centrally to pull...
Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs or told us the length. It is possible to do a lip lift to excise more laterally than centrally to pull up the corners.

I wouldn't typically recommend a surgical lip lift based on your photo. I typically recommend it for patients who have a long distance between the nose and upper lip, which is not present here. In my opinion, filler or fat transfer would be better options here.
