Should I get this mole under my big toe checked by a dermatologist sooner than July? Does it need a biopsy? (photos)

Thank you for your question and photograph. Unfortunately, it's difficult to evaluate and diagnose lesions through this type of forum. Discoloration underneath the nail can be a variety of lesions such as a mole or hemorrhage (blood leakage). An in-person evaluation by a dermatologist is needed, so the spot can be evaluated under high magnification with an instrument called a dermatoscope. If any abnormalities are noted, then a biopsy should be considered for further evaluation.  I recommend consulting with a board certified dermatologist for an evaluation and to address further questions or concerns.
