How long before IPL for vascular concerns does Skinoren 20% need to be stopped?

My treating therapist has recommended 2 weeks before and after each IPL session, but this seems overly conservative. Any further recommendations would be much appreciated. I am keen to avoid a rosacea flare, which is likely if I stop the Skinoren for an extended period of time. Many thanks.
