According to general hair transplantation growth graphic, you should have 60%-70% growth int he 8th month.
I know it's hard to be patient, but you are not at your final result. I encourage you to speak with your hair transplant specialist about your concerns. If a revision is needed later on, you can add more grafts for a more dense result.
There are other treatments that can be used for hair regrowth along with your current hair transplant. Start Theradome now (see link) and in-office PRP/acell, you can do early transplant if you want. You need a formal evaluation to see what type of hair loss you may have. when you have hairless it's best to do a full hormonal workup for internal optimization plus scalp biopsies or scrapings to rule out any stress-related, inflammatory, autoimmune or infectious causes of hair loss. In general most people with early hair loss have telogen (stress related) and/or androgenetic (normal aging) and both can be treated with in office treatments like steroid injections, PRP/acell, Exosomes and at home treatments like oral medications, oral vitamins like Viviscal, topical exfoliating sprays like Restorsea, and weekly growth factors like anteagemd. It takes a full 12 months for the hair to grow after a transplant. You are only at 8 months and I have lots of nervous patients calling at 8 months asking the same question. You actually look right on track for 8 months (assuming there wasn't much there to begin with) so try to be patient and have faith. It will not be as thick or as full as your native hair behind the transplant but it will definately be thicker than the current density. I know it can be difficult as I have had the procedure myself. I hope this helps...good luck?
Hello. You can expect more growth in the next 4 months. Always remember that this procedure is one year long journey.
