I cannot recommend Dr. Blumenthal and his team enough! From the initial consultation to the post-procedure follow-ups, the entire process was seamless and professional. Dr. Blumenthal took the time to explain every step of the hair transplant procedure, addressing all my concerns with patience and clarity. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the level of care I received was exceptional. The team ensured I was comfortable throughout, and their attention to detail was evident. It’s now been a few days since the procedure, but I’m thrilled to see the results. The clinic’s environment is welcoming and spotless, and the staff are friendly and supportive. If you’re considering a hair transplant, Natural Transplant is undoubtedly one of the best in the field. I’m incredibly grateful for their expertise and would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone.
Dr. Blumenthal was excellent!!! The process with this center was so smooth. Excellent communication and all my questions were answered. Follow services was great. The nurse contacted me immediately after my surgery and every three months after.
I recently had a hair transplant with Dr. Kevin Blumenthal at Natural Transplant Hair Clinic, and I can't hold back my excitement about the incredible experience. Scheduling was a breeze with Dave, and as soon as I walked into the office, I felt right at home. Dr. Blumenthal and his team are amazing—warm, friendly, and totally understanding of the unique challenges faced by Black women when it comes to our hair. From start to finish, Dr. Blumenthal and his staff kept me in the loop, explaining each step and making sure I knew exactly what was happening and what to expect next. Their patience and attention to detail really showed they genuinely cared about my journey. Even during aftercare, Dr. Blumenthal and his team followed up to check on me—-excellent bedside manners. I want to shout from the rooftops that Dr. Blumenthal is the go-to for Black women dealing with hairline and edge issues. Whether it's from tight braids, glue wigs, or weaves, or if you're battling traction alopecia, Dr. Blumenthal understands our struggles. As someone who has been through it, I can confidently say he's a game-changer. If you, like me, have been feeling self-conscious about your edges or avoiding ponytails because of baldness, you're not alone. I spent over a year researching solutions, and Dr. Blumenthal was a revelation. Watching interviews of other Black women and seeing their amazing results gave me so much hope. The HUE Method used by Natural Transplant Hair Clinic is a game-changer. The grafts produce a higher hair density than the traditional methods, and the results are mind-blowing. I have zero regrets, and I'm excited about the journey ahead. I can’t wait to share updates over the next year. To be continued...

Can't say enough positive things about Dr. B and his team at Natural Hair Transplants. From start to finish, the initial consultation to the post-procedure recovery days, it has all been as great of an experience as I felt it possibly could be. During the procedure day everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive, and I appreciated the honesty provided by Dr. B about realistic expectations as far as the procedure and results more than anything. Even post recovery they've remained responsive to any and all questions, and provided ample information ahead of time about how to ensure recovery success through the whole process. You're really guided from start to finish with no issues. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Blumenthal for anyone on the fence about getting a hair transplant, I can assure you that you won't regret it!

My experience was absolutely amazing! I was told by other doctors my hair was too thin for hair transplant. Dr. Blumenthal proved them wrong! My hair began to grow 3 months after procedure. I’m one year in and my hair is FULL! I have a hairline y’all! I never had a hairline! I have so much confidence. I don’t wear scarfs or headbands anymore. I love you Dr. Blumenthal. Thank You! GOD bless you and your wonderful techs! You guys took great care of me. Peace. Sonya
With the beautifully unique complexity of African American hair, it is not always easy to find doctors who have extensive experience working with kinky/afro hair. After much research, I found natural transplants. It was the abundance of footage of before & after videos, as well as 1 year follow ups, that compelled me to have my FUT done by one of their specialists. Today, I am 1 week post op and I must say, I know I made the right decision! The day of the procedure when I arrived I felt immediately at ease as the facility was clean and comfy, with a twist of modern chic decor, the staff (Jeff, Ron, Whitney & Saul) were chill, welcoming and very accommodating, and Dr. Blumenthal was not only diligent and meticulous in his work but appeared to be more excited in his enthusiasm than me, lol! Please note that this is surgery, so they're will be some pain and discomfort involved. The most pain is from the injecting of the local anesthetic, however, natural transplants now offers "laughing gas" while the anaesthetic is being administered, which minimizes the pain significantly. Other ways they do everything possible to make you comfortable are having the options to watch T.V, listen to music, take naps, etc, etc. You relax, while they do the labor! Having such extensive work performed on your scalp can be overwhelming to say the least, but with Naturals Transplant, dare I say, it's the spa treatment of FUT! Definitely eager to see my results within this next year!!!!!!
Smoking CAN affect a hair transplant but does not necessarily mean it WILL ruin it. The nicotine in the cigarettes causes constriction of the blood flow throughout the body and can therefore affect the blood supply to the grafts. If you are young and otherwise healthy perhaps the nicotine did not affect the blood vessels enough to cause much of a problem. And who knows, perhaps the results would have been even better if you had not smoked? Be thankful it worked well despite the smoking. And of course, smoking can cause a host of other medical problems including lung cancer as I'm sure you know. I hope this helps.
Although it must have been scary, I doubt the rigorous washing 11 days postop wold have done any damage to the grafts. Typically the grafts are secure by day 4 and although I wouldn't advice being too aggressive, by 11 days postop the grafts are probably pretty safe. Hopefully it will turn out ok. Good luck!
It takes a full 12 months for the hair to grow after a transplant. You are only at 8 months and I have lots of nervous patients calling at 8 months asking the same question. You actually look right on track for 8 months (assuming there wasn't much there to begin with) so try to be patient and have faith. It will not be as thick or as full as your native hair behind the transplant but it will definately be thicker than the current density. I know it can be difficult as I have had the procedure myself. I hope this helps...good luck?
I never talk bad about other doctors, but to answer your question, in my opinion there does not appear to be 2500 grafts placed in the frontal hairline area. Perhaps they performed 2500 FUE punches to the donor site; perhaps half were not viable or good quality follicles, and perhaps they only placed the 1000 or so that were viable but it does not look like 2500 grafts are placed in that small area in the frontal hairline.
This can be a very slow and nervous process; I know as I have done the procedure myself as well. It takes a full 12 months for the hair to fully grow in and for some even a little longer. So, you have only gotten half way and most of the hair growth occurs in the 2nd half so you have lots of time for growth. Unfortunately, the hair growth is not uniform and consistent. It grows in inconsistent and patchy which can be frustrating. Have faith and patience and you will have much better results in 6 months. Whether or not you want another procedure depends on your expectations and desires. It looks like you have very thick hair behind the transplanted area. In patients like yourself I often will counsel them that even with very good transplant results, the transplanted density will not be as thick as your native hair density and you may want a second procedure (a 2nd coat of paint as I call it) in the same area to double the density so the density matches your native hair density better. Even with good results from the transplant I would anticipate you will want a 2nd procedure as most young men want thick hair at the front of their hairline. I hope this help...good luck!
