I’m diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and was offered choice of lumpectomy plus inter-operative radiation (IORT) or mastectomy. I’m very small busted and would like implants. Can I have implants with a lumpectomy and IORT and if so is there an ideal timing for the implant/expander placement? Can it be done at the same time as lumpectomy + IORT?
