Thanks for your question. I think Accutane will probably help you quite a bit with milia. It treats all forms of acne, and milia are just tiny cysts with no opening to the surface, so as your skin turns over with the Accutane treatment, many of those milia will resolve. Ask your dermatologist for recommendations for any topical washes you might want to use during your Accutane course. We have patients use a mild salicylic acid wash or the Elta MD foaming facial cleanser when they are on Accutane, but check first before trying one of these products.
