Is this genetic? Why does my hairline not grow hair in the middle area? (Photo)

Question

I have always had a weird hairline , that includes baby hairs all along my hairline but it really bothers me that the hairs are getting thinner. My hairline is not as full and it looks like I have bald spots because hair doesn’t grow in a certain area . I have had labs done and nothing comes back abnormal , thyroid levels are good and no iron deficiency. Does this mean I might experience hair loss as I get older ? What can I do to make my hairline full again ?

Thanks for the question. There are three possibilities here: 1) hairline maturation in a female 2) early androgenetic alopecia 3) mild telogen effluvium. How does one determine which it is ? Well that answer is a really good history and really good examination. Be sure to see a hair loss expert. More than one of these may be present.
