Will combining Morpheus8 and NIR laser on the abdomen of an overweight patient help reach a desired results faster?

What would happen if you combined these two tx? Say 2 weeks post Morpheus8 body burst, you do NIR laser body sculpting tx, on the abdomen of an overweight pt. Do you feel this will help reach their desired outcome or heal faster?

Hello, and thank you for your question. While beneficial for wound healing due to its anti-inflammatory effects, any increase in lypolysis would likely be negligible at most. Expedite healing, possibly. Reach desired outcome regarding fat loss, no. Additionally, Morpheus8 used for fat reduction over a large area is not always as efficacious, especially if you are expecting a drastic loss in inches with enhanced definition. Morpheus8 is best for skin tightening and mild to moderate fat remodeling on patients that are relatively fit with minor to moderate concerns of skin laxity and/or stubborn pockets of fatty tissue. A remarkable difference in an overweight patient might best be achieved with weight loss through diet and/or surgical intervention . I would suggest you meet with both a skilled Morpheus8 practitioner to see realistic outcomes AND meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to see if you would be better suited for surgical intervention.

First of all, a picture would be very helpful here to give a more definite and personalized recommendation.  Having said that, I tend to recommend coolsculpting first to permanently remove up to 42% of the fat in the desired treatment area with morpheus sessions a month to three months later to do the post fat removal skin tightening and muscle contraction
